Weir’s Plaza Developers Film Documentary About the Knox Henderson Mixed Use Project
There was something about the long storyline of Weir’s furniture store and the beloved Highland Park Soda Fountain that inspired developer Justin Schoellkopf to film a documentary about his latest project. It was just last summer when we all learned about the redevelopment that would change the feel of the old-timey commercial street in Knox-Henderson between East Dallas and the Park Cities.
New office and retail high-rise gets green light on Dallas' Knox Street
Developers have gotten the green light to proceed with the largest new building project in Dallas' popular Knox Street district Longtime Knox Street merchant Weir's Furniture and real estate firm Four Rivers Capital plan to build a new retail and office tower on the furniture store's Knox Street site.
Dallas' City Council and plan commission have given full approval for the redevelopment.
